The Challenge

When Sheepdog Creative first met Spacecraft Entertainment, they were a young company looking to expand their clientele and build brand recognition in the Austin, TX region. Providing DJ services, A/V, lighting and more for both corporate events and weddings, Spacecraft Entertainment needed a logo and website that would stand out among the plentiful competition that the Austin area presented.

The Solution

The logo needed to communicate their modern and professional yet fun-loving spirit: the custom logo mark with bright orange color palette along with the juxtaposition of the clean sans-serif font in “SPACECRAFT” with the more ornamental typeface used for “entertainment” achieved this goal. At the same time, their much-loved tagline, “Entertainment that’s out of this world” was born.

Subsequently, Sheepdog Creative was asked to assist with website design consulting by providing web design mock-ups, typography suggestions and feedback throughout the build. Working closely with their programmer, Sheepdog Creative helped Spacecraft land on a slick, mobile-friendly and professional website that helps them attract – and sign-on – new clients.

Other projects have included a complete EPK (electronic press kit), custom thank-you cards, and branding and business card design for an experimental sub-brand, Karaoke Riot. Spacecraft Entertainment is now one of Austin’s most premier entertainment service providers.
